If your goal is to remotely pilot a drone in controlled airspace or near people, having a pilot's certificate for advanced operations is essential. You must pass the Transport Canada online exam as well as a flight review with a person mandated by Transport Canada. The pass mark is 80% and consists of 50 questions in 60 minutes. This training prepares you for the exam by teaching you all the concepts required by Transport Canada. You will save a lot of time and frustration. We have gathered all the concepts in a manual which can be consulted during the taking of the exam.

Our theoretical course is given in a virtual session or in a 4-day classroom at a rate of approximately 8 hours per day and it takes approximately ten hours of study. In addition, the course itself will give you a working method proven by our many operations and partners.

Photogrammetry

Minimum 3 students

Photogrammetry training will allow you to do aerial mapping, orthomosaic, 3D models, measure volumes or areas, point clouds and more. You will be able to improve your services in order to be competitive thanks to the low cost by using drones.

The lesson plan is subject to change according to the level of knowledge and the needs of the students.

We highly recommend having taken a drone course or equivalent. You must be able to perform a drone operation with a work methodology in accordance with Transport Canada standard.

Pilots wishing to carry out advanced operations can not only acquire the theoretical and practical bases at our school, but can also take their flight review in order to obtain their certificate issued by Transport Canada.

 

The flight review typically lasts 90 minutes in the company of a Transport Canada certified flight reviewer.

 

To book a flight review, the aspiring pilot must have already passed the Advanced Operations online exam. .
